A combination of oral contraceptive pill (OCP) and bicalutamide (antiandrogen) is significantly more effective and well-tolerated compared to OCP alone as treatment for severe hirsutism in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). These findings from a study were published December 1, 2017 in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.
